Whoever came up with this ad must have been inspired by the semi-annual Fashion Week sidewalk parade (and had one too many Kir Royales on the Café de Flore terrasse).
To La Mom's American readers: did this really air on TV?!? The Frenchies want to know!

Yes it did....I saw it only once (it must of been pulled after that) and I saw them for sale in target a while ago. Needless to say I didn't buy them for my Benjamin!
Yes, it did air. I always mute the commercials so this was the first time I've heard the voice over. Ugh. Time to potty train this little "fashion plate".

Yep definitely an American commercial...I used to see it on all the time. They still sell those diapers in my local grocery store...I've never used them though. Sorry but I always put pants on my kids when out in public! LOL

Wow...No, I didn't see this commercial. It almost seems like a farce one would see on Saturday Night Live. It's funny as a farce but tacky as a marketing tool. It makes me wonder what the Huggies marketers think of parents in my generation. No, number TWO is NEVER cool!

Yes, I saw it and there might be a second version. I think I remember the kid giving a sexy wink at one point in the commercial - crazy!

Before we moved to Paris (June) I saw it on TV...so they have been selling them for awhile. When we were in the US last month I was at a CVS Pharmacy and they were still selling them. Even though they said they would be a limited product. It's a bit cold for little ones to be walking in their diapers in Feb even in Florida! I can't imagine they are popular at all...but you never know
Just found your blog through a link @ God I love Paris blog :) I have seen this commercial not sure how long ago but difficult to forget something like that...Glad I found you planning my first trip to Europe next year hoping to stay in Paris for a week and since I do not fly I hate to even go into what it will take to get me there so thanks for all the information I am enjoying your blog!
